Objectives of the Course

To introduce medicinal plants, teaching growing techniques

Course Content

History, importance, ecological demand, general growing, principals of drying and storage, effective substance and their variability’s, spreading area, botanical features, growing techniques, their effective substances, important pest and diseases and consumption field of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants

1.To be able obtain knowledge about medicinal and aromatic plants in the culture of our country and around the world
2.To be able to obtain knowledge about the active substances of medical and aromatic plants
3.To be able to plant species suitable to its ecology and climate.
4.To be able to do maintenance and fertilization of the medicinal and aromatic plants, and obtain knowledge about their needs.
5. To be able prevent plant disease
6.To be able comprehend methods applied in the process of harvesting
