Purpose To provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the service sector's structure and significance; to teach how the marketing mix (7P) is applied in service businesses; and to develop students' analytical thinking skills in the areas of service quality and brand management.
The course begins with the definition and classification of the service concept. It then covers the 7P marketing mix specific to service marketing — product, distribution, price, promotion, people, process, and physical evidence — each addressed individually. In the following weeks, service quality is examined in depth. The course concludes with a practical perspective through real-world examples from Turkish and global brands.
