Objectives of the Course

Local government units and the conceptual framework to define the basic concepts of the Provincial Special Administration, Municipal and Metropolitan Municipalities and Rural Administration, powers, duties, responsibilities and the provisions of the legislation on local governments is intended to explain in detail.

Course Content

Definition and causes of rise of local governments. The basic principles of local governments. Types and the introduction of local governments. Examination of the legal regulations regarding the size of local governments

4.Can analyze the differences between the legislation of municipalities, metropolitan municipalities, and provincial special administrations.
5.Explains constitutional and administrative oversight mechanisms regarding local governments.
6.Distinguishes between the legal responsibilities and authority limits of local governments in their service areas.
7.Establishes the link between ethical principles for public officials and local government practices.
8.Explains the financial legislation and budgetary processes of local governments at a basic level.
