Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to provide students with the competence to carry out safe, legal and effective operations in dangerous goods transportation by learning national and international legislation, safety rules, packaging, labeling, marking, documentation, and emergency procedures for road, sea, air, rail, and combined transport.

Course Content

This course covers the classification, packaging, labeling, transportation, storage, and emergency response procedures of dangerous goods under ADR, RID, IMDG, IATA DGR and national legislation. Carrier responsibilities, safety consultancy, risk assessment and current regulations are the main topics.
