Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to provide students with fundamental knowledge of human resource management, its functions, and its strategic importance, while developing their knowledge and skills in planning, recruiting, developing, evaluating, and managing human resources in logistics enterprises. The course also aims to raise students' awareness of logistics-specific working conditions, workforce planning, performance management, occupational health and safety, and digital human resource management practices.

Course Content

Fundamental concepts and evolution of human resource management; the importance of human resource management in the logistics sector; human resource planning; job analysis and job design; recruitment and employee selection in logistics enterprises; orientation; training and development; performance management; career management; compensation and reward systems; occupational health and safety; employee relations; employee motivation; talent management; digital human resource management practices; and current human resource management applications in logistics enterprises.
