The Business Management Program is a four-semester associate degree program within the Department of Management and Organization. The program aims to provide students with fundamental knowledge and skills related to the establishment, management, and operations of businesses while developing professional competencies in management, organization, marketing, accounting, finance, human resources, and entrepreneurship. The curriculum is structured in consideration of the needs of public and private sector organizations as well as current developments in the business environment. Accordingly, particular emphasis is placed on developing students’ analytical thinking, problem-solving, communication, teamwork, digital competencies, and ability to act in accordance with professional ethical principles.

The Business Management Program began admitting students in the 2009–2010 academic year and has continued its educational activities with the aim of training qualified professionals needed in the management and organizational processes of businesses. Since its establishment, the program has continuously developed its educational practices in line with changing business conditions, technological developments, and current approaches in higher education.

The mission of the Business Management Program is to educate qualified professionals who understand the management and organizational processes of businesses; continuously develop their professional knowledge and skills in line with current developments; are capable of research, critical inquiry, and analytical thinking; possess effective communication and teamwork skills; can use digital technologies effectively; and demonstrate ethical awareness and social responsibility.

The vision of the Business Management Program is to become an innovative, student-centered, and nationally recognized associate degree program that equips students with the knowledge, skills, and competencies required by the changing business environment and digital transformation; continuously improves its educational processes through a quality assurance and continuous improvement approach; and maintains effective collaboration with academic and industry stakeholders.

The primary objective of the Business Management Program is to educate qualified professionals who meet the needs of public and private sector organizations; provide students with theoretical and practical knowledge of business management and organizational processes; and support them in developing the competencies required to effectively apply this knowledge in their professional careers. In this context, the program aims to develop students’ problem-solving, decision-making, communication, teamwork, entrepreneurship, digital competency, and lifelong learning skills.

The educational activities of the Business Management Program are conducted in the classrooms located at the Sümer Campus of Aydın Adnan Menderes University Nazilli Vocational School. The campus has 11 classrooms with a capacity of 100 students each and a computer laboratory with a capacity of 50 students, providing facilities to meet the educational needs of different student groups. The classrooms and shared facilities are utilized in coordination with other programs to support the effective implementation of educational activities.

The technical infrastructure of the program is structured to support the effective and efficient implementation of educational activities. The School has a computer laboratory with a capacity of 50 students, and classrooms are equipped with projection devices to support instructional activities. The computer laboratory and other technological educational facilities are shared with other programs within the Vocational School to ensure the effective and efficient use of resources. The existing technical infrastructure enables students to utilize digital tools, participate in practice-oriented learning processes, and benefit from the integration of current educational technologies into teaching and learning activities.
