Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to provide students with comprehensive knowledge of integrated logistics management on a global scale, to help them understand sector-specific logistics applications, and to equip them with competencies in supply chain integration, sustainability, legal regulations, and current technologies so that they can gain competitive advantage in the logistics sector.

Course Content

This course covers integrated global logistics management across various sectors including retail, food, textile, electronics, automotive, project, tourism, fair, pharmaceutical, waste, live animal, humanitarian and military logistics. It includes topics such as cold chain, RFID, reverse logistics, hazardous material transportation, international standards, EU directives and information logistics.

1.Explain global supply chain and integrated logistics concepts.
2.Compare and analyze sector-specific logistics applications (retail, food, automotive, pharmaceutical, etc.).
3.Describe advanced logistics technologies and methods such as cold chain, RFID, and reverse logistics.
4.Know and apply international logistics standards, EU directives, and legal regulations.
5.Evaluate sustainable and ethical logistics practices (animal welfare, environment, waste management).
6.Generate solutions to real-world logistics problems.
