Objectives of the Course

To develop basic knowledge about different types of yarns. To develop basic knowledge about basic woven fabrics. To develop basic knowledge about knitted fabrics. To develop basic knowledge about textile surfaces constructed by methods other than weaving and knitting.

Course Content

Classify yarns, recognize the fabrics which were woven by using basic weaves such as plain weave, twill weave and satin weave, recognize the different knitted fabrics and identify their characteristics.
