Objectives of the Course

To provide students with the knowledge of pixel-based computer programs (such as Adobe Photoshop) that they will use for Digital Design and to make applications in the field of graphic design.

Course Content

To transfer theoretical and applied information about learning a design program such as Adobe Photoshop and designing Graphic Design products.

Weekly Detailed Course Contents
Week 1 - Practice
Introduction and introduction to the course. General introduction of Adobe Photoshop program and examination of examples.
Week 2 - Theoretical
Giving general information about file sizes, resolutions and color modes. Preparation of designs in which different photographs are used together.
Week 3 - Theoretical
Making color and light adjustments on photographs, removing perspective and lens deformations, preparing for printing.
Week 4 - Theoretical
Tools menu review and texture creation exercises. Examination of pen, path tools and layer effects.
Week 5 - Theoretical
Giving information about mask types. Making applications with text and photos.
Week 6 - Theoretical
Retouching photos. Correction of photo defects. (use of adjustment layer, healing brush, etc.)
Week 7 - Theoretical
Adding text and objects created with various effects on the photo.
Week 8 - Theoretical
Adding text and objects created with various effects on the photo.
Week 9 - Theoretical
Recreation work with deformation tools (warp, perspective, skew, etc.) and many photographs.
Week 10 - Theoretical
Making photo-manipulation applications using different photos and effects together.
Week 11 - Theoretical
Making photo-manipulation applications using different photos and effects together.
Week 12 - Theoretical
Making photo-manipulation applications using different photos and effects together.
Week 13 - Theoretical
Making photo-manipulation applications using different photos and effects together.
