Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is for students to understand the basic concepts and workings of foreign trade; to gain practical skills by learning about export and import processes, delivery and payment methods, and foreign trade documents; and to become individuals who can analyze and interpret data at a basic level.

Course Content

Basic concepts of international trade, delivery terms (Incoterms), payment methods, foreign trade documents and their usage principles, export and import processes. Export market research techniques, customs and foreign exchange procedures, free zones, transit trade, international economic unions and their impact on foreign trade.

2.In international trade, comparing delivery terms and payment methods and choosing the most suitable one.
3.Preparing and using basic documents used in foreign trade.

5.To explain export market research techniques and the customs, foreign exchange, and general trade practices that affect foreign trade.
