Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to equip students with professional English language skills, enable them to acquire basic terminology related to the field of radiology, use fundamental grammatical structures (present and past tenses, modal verbs, imperatives, and passive voice) in professional contexts, and develop competence in oral and written communication with patients and healthcare professionals.

Course Content

This course covers the use of basic English grammar in the context of radiology; the human body, organ systems, and radiological anatomical terminology; imaging modalities (X-ray, MRI, CT, and ultrasound); patient admission and preparation procedures; communication with patients in the radiology department; terminology used in radiology reports; professional correspondence; and curriculum vitae (CV) preparation.
