Objectives of the Course

In emergency patient care course 1, it is aimed to teach the skills of emergency care applications on medical emergencies and to appliy the first and the second evaluation techniques.

Learning Outcomes
1.Explains the fundamental concepts of emergency patient care and the aims, scope, and principles of primary and secondary assessment.
2.Analyzes the theoretical assessment techniques used in primary and secondary evaluation of patients or victims.
3.Explains the pathophysiology and clinical findings of respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological emergencies.
4.Discusses the theoretical basis of emergency care approaches for respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions.
5.Explains the basic concepts, indications–contraindications, and potential risks related to medication use in emergency care.
