Objectives of the Course

In trauma information course it is aimed to teach the information and skills to apply emergency care in trauma cases and environmental emergencies.

Learning Outcomes
1.Scene safety, ABCDE approach, and rapid trauma assessment processes are explained and the principles of appropriate trauma management are interpreted.
2.Possible complications in external bleeding, soft tissue, facial–neck–head, and spinal injuries are analyzed and appropriate emergency care principles are explained.
3.Life-threatening signs in thoracic, abdominal, pelvic, and extremity traumas are distinguished and theoretical management steps are explained.
4.Devices used for immobilization in trauma cases, their indications, and theoretical application steps are explained.
5.Carrying techniques used in trauma patient transport, possible risks, and safe team approach principles are evaluated.
