Objectives of the Course

The basic features of the operating room, principles, and information about the materials to learn. Surgery patient preparation, operating room and related transactions information regarding acquire. In surgery, preparation of the table and to provide information to assist the surgeon.

Course Content

Participation in the diagnosis and surgical intervention of diseases, Technology an operating table and surgical interventions, Monitors , equipment, and surgical interventions Clean air technology and surgical interventions Special Sets,orthotics and prosthetics, surgical interventions, specific Special materials (KUSA Stapled,Laparoscopy, etc.) Basic text features The characteristics and care of operating room instruments The opening of the surgical kit, use, control, packaging, sterilization Areas of use of disinfectant materials Health and safety at work in the operating room. Patient and employee safety in the operating room environment

Learning Outcomes
1.It describes the basic materials and instruments used in the fields of urogenital, ocular, ENT, gastrointestinal, endocrine systems, and plastic and reconstructive surgery.
2.Explains the purposes, characteristics, and differences of materials and instruments specific to each surgical specialty.
3.Prepares the surgical kit suitable for the type of surgery, arranging the materials in the correct order.
4.By examining the requirements of the planned operation, it justifies the selection of the correct materials in terms of patient safety and infection control.
5.Evaluates practices in surgical instrument management within the framework of patient safety, ethical principles, and professional standards.
