Objectives of the Course

With a multidisciplinary team approach, it is aimed to provide students with knowledge and skills about operating room layout, working conditions and functioning and to provide information on health legislation.

Course Content

Arranging the Working Environment, Registration and documentation in the operating room, Monitoring the services provided in the operating room unit, Awareness of professional duty and responsibility, Getting information about Health Regulations

1.Explains the basic concepts, organizational structure and operation of operating room management.
2.Effectively implements operating room planning (surgical scheduling, room preparation, material management).
3.Explains patient, employee and material safety.
4.Follows current developments in the field of management and organization and reflects them in his/her professional practices.
5.Integrates sterilization, disinfection, infection control and safety protocols into organizational processes.
