Objectives of the Course

The objective of this course is to provide students with theoretical and practical knowledge on utilizing generative artificial intelligence (Generative AI) and augmented reality (AR) technologies within the field of hair care and beauty services. Throughout the course, it aims to enable students to generate professional-level digital hair color, haircut, and make-up designs by mastering prompt engineering, neural filters, generative fill, and virtual try-on technologies. Additionally, the course aims to cultivate qualified professionals who can lead the digital transformation in the industry, possess a strong command of copyright and digital ethics, and hold the vision to conduct AI-assisted client consultations and create personal digital portfolios and lookbooks.

1.Analyzes the transition from traditional digital methods to generative AI in hair and make-up design, and explains the sectoral boundaries of copyright, business ethics, and deepfake concepts.
2.Applies digital photography and input optimization standards required for AI algorithms to accurately analyze human face, hair texture, and morphology.
3.Formulates accurate prompt engineering texts to precisely transfer haircut forms, color pigments, and cosmetic make-up styles into generative AI engines.
4.Performs hair color, volume, haircut, and extension simulations in the digital environment using generative fill and neural filters tools in graphic editors.
5.Designs advanced make-up and color cosmetics variations using face-mapping and augmented reality (AR) based corporate virtual try-on technologies.
6.Demonstrates a digital marketing vision aligned with technological trends in the beauty industry by turning designs generated with AI tools into digital client lookbooks and personal brand portfolios.
