Objectives of the Course

The objective of this course is to provide students with the theoretical foundation and practical application protocols of modern mechanical stimulation and electro-aesthetic device technologies used in localized slimming, body contouring, and cellulite treatments. Within the scope of the course, it aims for students to comprehend body composition, adipose tissue anatomy, and the fundamental mechanics of metabolism; and to perform professional anthropometric measurements and data analysis using calipers, measuring tapes, and bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA) methods. Furthermore, it aims to train professional specialists who master the working principles, indications, and contraindications of advanced technologies such as manual lymph drainage, G5 massage, vacuum therapies, cavitation, radiofrequency, cryolipolysis, and electrical muscle stimulation (EMS) to develop safe, holistic localized slimming protocols tailored to client needs.

Course Content

Human metabolism, nutrition and nutrient groups, manipulation -based slimming practices, weakening tools

Name of Lecturer(s)
Learning Outcomes
1.Explains body composition, adipose tissue (adipocyte) anatomy, and the metabolic and physiological mechanisms of localized adiposity.
2.Performs professional anthropometric measurements using caliper, measuring tape, and bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA) methods, and analyzes and reports the gathered data.
3.Classifies aesthetic deformations by clinically evaluating the stages of excess weight, obesity, and cellulite (localized lipodystrophy).
4.Executes mechanical stimulation techniques such as manual lymph drainage, G5 massage, and vacuum/endermologie therapies according to application protocols and lymphatic system anatomy.
5.Explains the physical working principles of advanced electro-aesthetic devices (cavitation, radiofrequency, cryolipolysis, EMS) and distinguishes between indications and contraindications.
6.Designs safe and holistic localized slimming protocols combining mechanical and technological methods tailored to client profiles, adiposity mapping, and tissue needs.
7.Manages potential risks that may arise during sessions by observing occupational health, safety, hygiene, and professional ethical rules in electro-aesthetic device applications.
