Objectives of the Course

In this lesson; aims to provide students with holistic health and wellness approaches; and to convey the physiological effects of advanced body treatments derived from water, sea, mud, and thermal sources. It is intended for students to professionally apply globally recognized alternative care methodologies such as hot stone care, reflexology, and traditional head massage, to design unique "Signature Care" concepts, and to manage the operational menu of a modern SPA establishment.

1.Analyzes holistic health approaches and Eastern-Western-originated body-mind balancing systems.
2.Explains the physiological effects of hydrotherapy, balneotherapy, and thalassotherapy applications, and conducts appropriate wrapping (mud, seaweed) and bath rituals.
3.Practically applies mechanical exfoliation protocols such as cosmetic body peeling, masking, and moisturizing.
4.Executes alternative body techniques such as hot stone care, foot reflexology, and Indian head massage (Champi) in accordance with their respective methodologies.
5.Prepares thematic menu design, service costing, and operational session management plans for a SPA establishment.
6.Designs a unique "Signature Care" concept and a 90-minute premium protocol aligned with the vision of a Body Care Specialist, presenting it on a live model.

Advanced Wellness and SPA Philosophy (Holistic health approaches; integration of Eastern and Western-originated body-mind balancing systems).
Week 2 - Theoretical & Practice
Hydrotherapy and Balneotherapy Controls (Hydrotherapy [treatments using water] and balneotherapy [cures using thermal and mineral waters] methods; physiological results of water temperature, buoyancy, and chemical effects on the body).
Week 3 - Theoretical & Practice
Body Wraps and Thalassotherapy (Use of marine-sourced products [thalassotherapy] in treatments; detoxifying, firming, and cellulite-reducing mud, seaweed, and botanical wrapping techniques).
Week 4 - Theoretical & Practice
Cosmetic Body Care Protocols (Body peeling [dead cell exfoliation] techniques and mechanical exfoliation products; practical application of body masking, moisturizing, and bath rituals).

Alternative Body Techniques: Foundations of Hot Stone Care (Properties, selection, and heating standards of volcanic basalt stones; placement theory of stones according to energy centers on the body and thermal transfer principles).

Hot Stone Care Application Protocols (Techniques for achieving deep muscle relaxation using heated stones; practical laboratory study of stroking and pressure manipulations performed with stones).

Holistic SPA Menu Design and Operation Management (Packaging of body care services and creating thematic menus; service costing, session durations, and client loyalty strategies).
Week 11 - Theoretical & Practice
Thematic "Signature Care" Design of the Body Care Specialist (Students developing their own unique concepts [e.g., regenerating care ritual with Aydın fig or olive oil extract]; theoretical and operational planning of a 90-minute premium "Signature Care" protocol).

Signature Care Application Practices - I (Ambiance preparation, aromatic elements, music, and light integration in the designed signature treatments; practical flow of exfoliation and wrapping phases).
