Objectives of the Course

The objective of this course is to provide students in the field of hair care and beauty services with a scientific and aesthetic foundation for their professional applications by enabling them to comprehend basic art concepts, facial and body morphology, color theory, and visual design principles. It aims to equip students with a sectoral vision by combining their artistic infrastructure with both traditional drawing techniques and digital aesthetic forms.

Course Content

This course covers the integration of basic art and visual design principles into the field of beauty services. The main outlines of the course consist of chiaroscuro (light and shadow) rules, color theory (hair and skin tone analyses), facial morphology, the use of perspective in hair cutting and styling, and digital and traditional aesthetic analysis processes.

1.To be able to analyze basic art, morphology, and visual design principles in beauty services.
2.To be able to scientifically determine correct color combinations (harmony and contrast) for hair and skin tones using color theory.
3.To be able to plan personalized aesthetic designs by evaluating facial morphology and the golden ratio.
4.To be able to apply the principles of light, shadow, and perspective in makeup and hair styling sketches (face charts).
5.To be able to create a professional concept portfolio using traditional drawing techniques and digital aesthetic tools.
