Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to give students a comprehensive notion and basic knowledge about the labor law. The basic concepts in the labour law, employee, employer, subcontractor, workplace, wage, working hours,paid annual leaves, collective bargaining, strike and lockout will be examined.

Basic principles, history and the scope of labour law, Application field of individual labour law, The form and the types of employment contract, The obligations of the employee and the employer, Termination of the employment contract, The result of the termination of the employment contract, Working hours, holidays and leaves
