The aim is to teach students fundamental legal concepts and to provide them with basic legal knowledge specifically within the Turkish legal system.
The necessity for humans, as social beings, to live in an orderly and safe environment; social relations, governance, social order rules, elements of a legal rule, legal sanctions, classification of legal rules, concepts of legal science and legal system, sources of law, distinction between public law and private law, and summary information about the main branches of law, the concept of right, the concept of legal relationship, legal event, legal act and legal transaction, acquisition, loss, and protection of rights, judicial organization, and judicial procedures.
