To understand the basic components that make up a computer, to gain knowledge about how computers work, to perform advanced educational applications with various software, and to increase knowledge in computer and communication technologies.
Basic components of a computer system: Processor, input/output units, storage, and other peripherals; Operating systems: Working effectively in the operating system, personalizing and managing the system; Introduction to utility software: Archiving programs, audio/video player programs, screen recording programs, etc. Word processing programs: Text and page editing, working with tables, images, and graphs, creating forms, letters, and labels. Customizing menus and toolbars. Macros and advanced applications. Spreadsheet programs: Creating templates with data such as electronic spreadsheets, numbers, words, and dates, drawing graphs, performing mathematical, logical, and textual operations, macros, standard and user-defined functions. Data presentation programs: Creating and editing presentations. Adding objects such as sound, images, music, and films. Animation and special effects. Computer and internet security; Computers and Ethics.
