The aim of this course is to raise students' awareness regarding the concepts of volunteerism, social responsibility, ethical values, and sustainable development goals, and to contribute to the development of a mindset for volunteering in public institutions, local governments, civil society organizations, and social responsibility projects. The course also aims to enhance students' skills in planning, teamwork, communication, social responsibility, and contributing to society.
The concept and historical development of volunteering, ethical principles of volunteering, civil society organizations, social responsibility, active citizenship, Sustainable Development Goals, volunteering practices in public institutions and local governments, social project development processes, planning and implementation of volunteering activities, reporting on volunteering efforts, social contribution practices, and the examination of exemplary volunteering projects.
