| 1. | Determines the individual’s basic care needs based on assessment findings. |
| 2. | Describes basic care interventions for respiratory, gastrointestinal, cardiovascular, urinary, neurological, and dermatological problems. |
| 3. | Implements care practices for commonly encountered clinical conditions in accordance with patient safety and aseptic principles. |
| 4. | Plans and implements appropriate care for patients with diabetic foot, stoma, urinary catheterization, and terminal care needs. |
