Objectives of the Course

378 The aim of this course is to provide students with fundamental knowledge and skills related to the planning, organization, team management, quality management, record-keeping and documentation processes, as well as the monitoring and evaluation of home care services; and to enable students to manage home care services effectively, safely, ethically, and in accordance with quality standards.

Course Content

Home care services encompass service planning and organization, multidisciplinary team structure and team management, care coordination, quality management and quality standards, patient safety practices, record keeping and documentation processes, monitoring and evaluation of care services, performance indicators, ethical and legal responsibilities, continuous quality improvement practices, and the use of information technologies in home care services.
