With this course students; It is aimed to gain proficiency in using basic professional grammar and programming concepts by using professional foreign language.
This course aims to develop students’ general English language skills, introduce the basic medical terminology used in home patient care services, and improve their professional communication skills. The course covers the human body and organ systems, basic anatomy and medical terminology, patient admission and communication with patients, assessment of vital signs, expression of pain and symptoms, nutrition and medication monitoring, and English expressions used in home accidents and first aid. In addition, professional language structures used in activities of daily living, patient mobilization, and positioning are taught alongside fundamental English grammar topics.
