Objectives of the Course

To evaluate the basic conceptual framework between health and society, the relationships of these concepts and their critical importance for individual and community health; and to provide the competence to analyze in detail the structure of society, the factors affecting health, the criteria indicating the level of health and the structure of health systems.

Course Content

In this course, basic concepts such as individual health concept and social structure which are the basis of community health will be explained. In order to create and sustain a healthy society, it is important to understand the basic concepts students need to know; social and health work and basic factors will be emphasized
