Objectives of the Course

To provide students with the competency to create healthy and safe working environments by teaching the definition, development and risk factors of occupational hygiene; occupational hygiene testing and measurement methods and general control approaches; and the definition, development, and relationship of ergonomics with humans and the work environment, along with ergonomic design principles.

Course Content

Definition and development of occupational hygiene, occupational hygiene risk factors, occupational hygiene testing and measurement methods, general control methods in occupational hygiene, the relationship between ergonomics and occupational hygiene, definition and development of ergonomics, ergonomics and the human, ergonomics and the work environment, ergonomics and design.
