Objectives of the Course

To introduce students to the documents and records that are mandatory under occupational health and safety legislation in workplaces; to develop practical skills in preparing, classifying, storing and archiving risk assessment, training, inspection, accident and near-miss reports; and to build competency in accurate and effective technical report writing.

Course Content

Introduction to OHS documentation and legal basis, the workplace file and mandatory documents, risk assessment reporting, emergency plans, training records and certification, periodic inspection and examination reports, accident/near-miss notification and investigation reports, occupational health surveillance records, audit and inspection reports, document control and records management, electronic recording systems (İSG-KATİP, etc.), technical report writing principles and applied examples.
