To provide understanding of electrical hazards, risk factors and accident prevention methods arising from the use of electric vehicles and equipment; to instil safe working principles and practices within the framework of relevant national and international legislation and standards.
Electrical hazards and risks, electric shock and burns, earthing and insulation, types of electric vehicles (forklift, crane, elevator), battery and charging system safety, electric hand tools, panel and switchboard safety, LOTO (lockout-tagout) procedures, electrical installation regulation, risk assessment and emergency response.
