The aim of this course is to teach the structure and organelles of the plant cell; to teach cell division and reproduction types; to introduce plant tissues and organs at the morphological-anatomical level; and to provide a holistic perspective on plants by explaining flower, pollination, fertilization, seed, and fruit processes.
Plant and animal cells; prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells; cell membrane, cell wall, and organelles; mitosis and meiosis; sexual and asexual reproduction; plant tissues (meristem, parenchyma, protective, vascular, secretory, supporting); morphology, anatomy, and metamorphosis of root, stem, and leaf; flower structure, pollination, fertilization, seed, and fruit formation.
| 1. | Compare plant and animal cells; distinguish prokaryotic and eukaryotic cell structures; explain the structure-function characteristics of cell membrane and cell wall. |
| 2. | Identify cell organelles (ER, Golgi, ribosome, mitochondria, plastids, vacuole, nucleus) and explain the function of each in the cell. |
| 3. | Compare the stages of mitosis and meiosis; explain sexual and asexual reproduction types with examples. |
| 4. | Classify plant tissues (meristem, parenchyma, protective, vascular, secretory, supporting); establish the relationship between the structural characteristics and function of each tissue. |
| 5. | Describe the morphological and anatomical structure of root, stem, and leaf; compare metamorphosis types observed in these organs. |
| 6. | Explain flower structure, pollination and fertilization mechanisms, seed and fruit formation processes; distinguish seed and fruit types. |
