Objectives of the Course

Understand the nature of traumatic life events with disaster and trauma. To understand the relationship between post-traumatic stress disorder and the abnormal reactions of post-traumatic event and post-traumatic stress disorder. To learn how to protect the trauma from the wave effect (secondary traumatic stress).

Course Content

The aim of this course is to provide the students with a general knowledge of the psychology of disaster psychology.

2.Immediate post-traumatic stress disorder and traumatic event earthquake and posttraumatic stress with unusual reactions understand the relationship between the disorder.
3. Wave of trauma as relief workers to learn protection methods (secondary traumatic stress).
4. To learn the Psychosocial Intervention Approaches to the Psychological Effects of Disasters
5.To know the approach to disadvantaged groups
