The aim of Cosmetic Microbiology course; to give basic information about microorganisms in cosmetic products, sources of microbial contamination in cosmetics, factors affecting the growth of microorganisms in cosmetics, cosmetic product-related diseases and cosmetic protection methods.
Microorganisms and cosmetic products. Contamination sources in cosmetics. Factors affecting the growth of microorganisms in food (internal factors, external factors). cosmetic protection methods (prevention of contamination, removal of contaminants from cosmetics, prevention of microbial reproduction, killing of microorganisms present in cosmetics). Cosmetic mediated diseases, epidemiology and control of cosmetic mediated pathogens.
