Objectives of the Course

It is aimed that the student will be able to monitor the physical, psycho-motor and cognitive development of children and use the tools to measure the development.

Course Content

This course covers different perspectives on child development, factors affecting development, research methods in developmental psychology, basic concepts and principles of development, physical development, psycho-motor development, cognitive development, basic issues related to infant and child care and characteristics of child development according to age.
