Objectives of the Course

The aim is to improve students' professional skills by enabling them to gain knowledge about the processes involved in the production and processing of thermoset plastics and elastomers, as well as the molds, equipment, and other production materials used in these processes.

Course Content

The production stages of thermoset plastics, rubber and elastomer production and processing steps, molding technology, preparation of thermoset and elastomer matrices and the additives used, developments in thermoset and elastomer technology, and tests applied to elastomers.
