Objectives of the Course

The aim of this lesson is to teach the basic concepts of chemistry to students who will work as technicians in the sector, to make them comprehend the importance of chemistry, and to improve students' ability to solve questions and think correctly.

Course Content

Matter, Atomic structure, Chemical bonds, molecular geometry, mole concept, chemical equations, chemical reactions, acid- base reactions, oxidation-reduction reactions, gases, liquids, solids, solutions, solution problems, basic laws of chemistry.

Learning Outcomes
1.Understanding the basic principles of chemistry
2.To be able to learn the subjects that form the basis of chemistry
3.To be able to recognize chemical substances
4.Ability to formulate chemical compounds
5.Ability to work individually and in groups in the laboratory
6.Being able to write and interpret chemical reactions
7.To be able to learn the chemicals used in laboratory analysis and their properties
8.To be able to have information and to have an idea about the reactions that may occur between different substances and their results.
