Objectives of the Course

In order to protect the natural environment, it is aimed to take necessary precautions by analyzing all polluting elements.

Course Content

Brief history of environmental protection, environmental pollutants, air, soil, water pollution, radioactive pollution, waste identification and treatment methods, environmental impact assessment.

Learning Outcomes
1.It identifies environmental risk factors and assesses the potential impacts of these risks on human health and the environment.
2.It classifies the factors and types of pollution that contaminate environmental components (air, water, soil).
3.This document describes current treatment and disposal methods used in the management of solid, medical, and radioactive waste, as well as in the remediation of existing pollution.
4.By understanding the importance of protecting the natural environment and ecological structure, they demonstrate environmental awareness in professional and social processes.
5.It analyzes the impacts of global environmental problems, such as climate change, global warming, and vector-borne health risks, on public health.
