Name of Lecturer(s)
Learning Outcomes
1.This course defines the fundamental concepts and principles related to the methods covered in Electrotherapy II.
2.This describes the biophysical principles and physiological effects on tissue of electrotherapy agents such as high-frequency currents (SWD, PSWD, MWD), ultrasound, laser, magnetotherapy, and ESWT.
3.Participants gain the ability to apply Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES) and Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation (NMES) methods within the framework of established protocols and with correct technical parameters.
4.In cervical and lumbar traction applications, the practitioner knows the appropriate traction force (kg), application angle, and method; and applies these determined parameters with the correct technique.
5.They know the indications and contraindications of electrotherapy agents and traction; they perform the procedures according to appropriate technical and safety principles.
