Objectives of the Course

To have detailed information about the anatomical features and functions of the muscles in the body and the nervous system that innervate those muscles.

Course Content

This course contains basic information on muscle and nerve anatomy, axes, planes, terminology, terms indicating locations and directions in human body, columna vertebralis and upper extremity bones, shoulder region, hand region, pectoral region, pelvis, lower extremity bones, gluteal region, anterior, medial and posterior region of thigh , anterior-medial and posterior region of the leg, foot anatomy, superficial-deep back muscles, anterior abdominal wall muscles, intercostal muscles and m. diaphragmatica, neck muscles, facial and masticatory muscles and branches of plexus cervicalis, plexus brachialis and plexus lumbosacralis that innervate these muscles.

1.It explains the basic concepts of anatomy, anatomical terminology, planes, axes, and terms related to movement.
2.It describes the anatomical structures of the axial skeleton and the bones of the upper and lower extremities.
3.They know the anatomical features and range of motion of the axial skeleton and the joints of the upper and lower extremities.
4.It describes the anatomical features and basic functions of the muscles of the head and neck, trunk, back, abdomen, and upper and lower extremities.
5.It describes the organization of the peripheral nervous system, the main branches of the plexuses, and the basic functions of the cranial nerves.
