Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to teach students the pathology required for health-related undergraduate branches other than medical education.

Course Content

In this course, pathological terminology, cell damage and adaptation mechanisms of the body to damage, differences between inflammation, healing and regeneration, tumor formation, characteristics of benign and malignant tumors, pathology of the circulatory system, genetic diseases, pathologies related to blood cells, musculoskeletal and nervous system pathology. joint diseases, environmental pathogens and nutritional pathology are explained.

1.It explains the fundamental concepts of pathology, including the etiology and pathogenesis of diseases.
2.It describes the processes of cellular damage, cellular adaptation, inflammation, healing, and regeneration.
3.It describes the key features of hemodynamic disturbances, thromboembolism, shock, and tumor development.
4.It explains immune system disorders and nutrition-related pathological changes.
5.Cerebrovascular diseases describe the basic pathological features of cardiovascular diseases and blood disorders
