To ensure that students display professional and ethical behavior within the rehabilitation team as a Physiotherapy technician by teaching and adopting the concepts of ethics, morality and deontology, Physiotherapy ethical rules and practice standards, clinical and research ethics.
This course includes; Explanation of the course content, discussion of important terms, Deontology in the relationships between health personnel, patients and their relatives, examination of patient rights, Concept of rehabilitation, teamwork and working principles of health professionals, Concept of ethics and law, Place of physiotherapy in law, Role of physiotherapy technician, place in teamwork, fields of work, Education status of physiotherapy technician, Place in Turkey and the world (homework presentation), Theoretical perspective and competent units in physiotherapy ethics, Professional deontology and national/international ethical declarations, Ethical principles of physiotherapy technicians, Physiotherapy practice standards, Discussion of practice standards in physiotherapy, Ethical problems and problem solving (homework presentation), Research ethics and Group Work.
