Objectives of the Course

The aim is to enable students to analyze entrepreneurial opportunities in the podology and general health sectors and to develop innovative and creative business ideas. Within the scope of the course, students are expected to acquire the fundamental knowledge, skills, and managerial competencies necessary to establish their own foot health centers/clinics or to take on the role of internal entrepreneur in existing corporate structures. These include business plan preparation, financial forecasting, legal regulations, and market analysis.

Course Content

The historical development and fundamental dimensions of the concept of entrepreneurship; entrepreneurial personality traits, creativity and innovation dynamics; business ethics and social responsibility; social entrepreneurship, women's entrepreneurship and home-based work models; franchising systems; steps in preparing a business plan including market analysis, financial planning and documentation processes; entrepreneurship ecosystems in the world and in Türkiye, the new economy, technoparks and current applications of artificial intelligence in entrepreneurship.
