Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to teach students the fundamental concepts, historical development, theoretical approaches, application principles, and indications and contraindications of reflexology, and to enable them to evaluate the role of reflexology in foot health, relaxation, stress management, and complementary care practices.

Course Content

Definition and history of reflexology, reflexology theories, foot reflex points and charts, principles of reflexology practice, physiological effects of reflexology, indications and contraindications, ethical and legal aspects, stress management and relaxation techniques, reflexology approaches in podiatric care, clinical case studies, and current research.
