Objectives of the Course

To provide training to students on physical therapy and rehabilitation practices.

Course Content

Definition of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation; definitions of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation modalities; cold applications in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation (indications, contraindications, and complications); heat applications in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation (indications, contraindications, and complications); other physical therapy modalities; definition and effects of exercise; types of exercise; exercise applications; massage; definition and indications of orthoses; orthotic materials; foot orthoses; prescription and monitoring of foot orthoses.
