A general introduction to the field of imagology will be made.
n this course, the definition of the image will be made, the use of images in art works will be explained and the role of cultural and historical facts in the formation of the image will be pointed out. The concepts of imagination will be defined conceptually, the conditions of emergence, the phases of change and the schools it has undergone. The application of imagology theories and methods will be shown on selected texts. The definition of the image of the different disciplines, the definition of the relationship between close concepts such as prejudice, stereotypes, giving place in the comparative literature and place of study will be focused on practical work.
