Objectives of the Course

Comparison of European and Turkish literature.

Course Content

In this course, it is aimed to give information about the basic theories of comparative literature. In this course, the historical background, origin, development and schools of comparative literature will be mentioned in general terms and as a discipline, especially II. After World War II, it will be discussed why the world has gained a great importance. In the next stage, scientific articles written on this subject will be examined in order to see the acquired knowledge in practice, and then, comparative literary analyzes will be made to the student.
