Objectives of the Course

The main objective of this course is to give information about the definition of poisonous plants, families containing poisonous plants, the local names of poisonous species, the regions where they grow.

Course Content

The definition of poison and poisoning, general properties of poisonous plants, the active compounds it contains, important families containing poisonous plant species, toxic substances and factors affecting the level of these substances, the list of the major poisonous plants growing in our country and their introduction.
