Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to examine the concept of political ideology that shapes and reshapes the social, political and cultural landscape of perhaps the most important centuries (19th and 20th centuries) of human history. After the conceptual framework is drawn, the course will examine the historical development sequences, processes and contents of different ideologies by considering political sociological and historical backgrounds. By examining the end of history thesis put forward at the end of the twentieth century, it will be discussed which kinds of ideologies are valid or not today.

Course Content

In this course, the modern political ideology in a wide range of contemporary classical liberalism from anti-globalization critically examining Turkey are investigating the geography of the area into the Western political thought.
