This course aims to introduce students with contemporary sociological theories such as Structural Functionalism, Conflict theories, Symbolic Interactionism and help them understand the foundations of modern sociological analyses.

This course aims to provide students with some basic skills for reading, understanding and translation the english sociological texts. This course also contains verbal communication and reading exercises in class.
