The aim of this course is to develop students' ability to prepare and implement a research project by addressing a sociological issue. At the end of this course, students are expected to be able to prepare a research project on their own, develop research questions and apply research techniques used in sociology.
The main purpose of this course is to provide students with pre-site planning, field process and post-field reporting experience. To achieve this aim, the course will provide a comprehensive preparation on how to prepare a research project in sociology. In this direction, students will be divided into groups and each group will prepare a project by choosing a research topic. Each work of the research groups will be followed by the lecturer.
